Commercial projects

Sports flooring, apartments, restaurants and community centres. In high-traffic rooms wood takes a beating — we stain, seal and finish it so it comes back, dust-free and on a timetable that keeps your doors open.

How we work with you

Refinishing without closing your doors

We offer refinishing services on a wide range of wood floors, from sports flooring to apartments, restaurants and community centres. All our finishes are water-based and eco-friendly, so restoring the floor does not mean turning the air in the building over to solvents.

Two things make that possible in a building you cannot empty. Our sanding is dust-free — containment captures the grindings at the machine, so nothing settles on stock, equipment or a dining room two doors down, and neighbouring areas can stay open while we work. And our water-based coats cure in hours rather than days, so they go on back to back instead of one a day. A floor an oil-based crew would have you close for a week is usually back in service in two or three days.

We stand behind our work and won't be satisfied until you are. Ask our experts about how we can give new life to your old hardwood.

01

Basketball and squash courts

Sports floors take more punishment than any room in a house. We sand back, re-line and seal them so the surface plays true again — usually inside an off-season window rather than across one.

02

Property management and apartments

Suite turnovers on a schedule. We refinish between tenancies so a unit is ready to show rather than ready to re-carpet — and a two to three day turnaround means the vacancy costs you a few days, not a few weeks.

03

Restaurants and bowling alleys

Grease, grit and chair legs. We work around service hours, sand dust-free so nothing settles in a kitchen or on a bar, and use finishes that stand up to a full dining room.

04

Community centres

Halls, stages and meeting rooms, refinished between bookings — fast-curing finishes mean a hall is usually back for the next one. The Ruskin Community Hall floor below was restored in place.
